We believe the Bible is the Word of God

to all people, which is a fancy Christian way of saying the Bible is our only sure source for knowing Who God is, what the Gospel is, and how we should live our lives. The Bible was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because the Bible was inspired by God, it is Truth without any error. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 1:13, Psalm 119:105, 160, Psalm 119:12:6, Proverbs 30:5)

We believe God is the Creator

and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three, the Trinity, are co-equal and are one God. (Genesis 1:1, 26-27 & 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe in Jesus Christ

as the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Born of the Holy Spirit and Mary, a virgin, God and man at the same time, Jesus lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the only perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of His Father and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5 & 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13)

We believe in the Holy Spirit

as equal with the Father and the Son as God. He exists in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ, and He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance for doing what is right. (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13 & 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12 & 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:18)

We believe that God created the universe

and everything in it in six literal days. We believe that God created Man in His spiritual image, and we believe that Man chose to disobey God and corrupt the perfect world God freely gave us. (Genesis 1; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2)

We believe that only God is righteous

and all humanity is lost in our sin without Christ’s sacrifice. We believe in salvation by grace through faith in the life and death of Jesus Christ. There is nothing we can do to earn salvation. It is a gift God freely gives, that we humbly and gratefully accept. We believe Jesus is the only way anyone can be saved from condemnation and restored to a right relationship with God. (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6 & 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1)

We believe in eternal security

Because salvation comes unearned through faith in Jesus Christ, there is nothing we can do to lose it. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.  (John 10:29; 2 Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25 & 10:10-14; 1 Peter 1:3-5)

We believe in the unity of the Church

that everyone who chooses to trust in Christ for their salvation becomes a part of the true Church, the Body of Christ, and that we should be unified in the purpose to tell the world about what God has done for us. (Acts 20:28; Romans 12:3-5; 1 Corinthians 10:31-33; 1 Corinthians 12:12-26; Ephesians 1:18-23; Ephesians 5:25-32; Colossians 1:17-20; 1 Peter 2:9-10; Ephesians 1:19-22)

We believe man was created to exist forever.

He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation through Christ. We believe in a literal Hell and a literal Heaven. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with God is Heaven. (John 3:16; 1 John 2:25 & 5:11-13; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15)

We believe all Truth belongs to God

whether we acknowledge it or not. This is how, in every aspect of creation whether it is nature or engineering or family or government or the arts, God can be glorified, even if He is not specifically given credit. (Psalm 119:160; Ephesians 1:13-14; John 1:14 & 17; John 17:14-21; Philippians 4:8)
